Pastor Jason Kauranen was ordained, through the call of God, as a Pastor-teacher in May of 2023 by Pastor Robert R. McLaughlin of Grace Bible Church in Somerset, Massachusetts. Pastor Jason has been a member of Grace Bible Church for almost 20 years and has served as a Deacon for 9 years. He was head of the children's ministry where he taught various age groups, editor for Trees of Life publications, and wrote curriculum. Pastor Jason has had the honor and privilege to faithfully ‘fill in the gap’ under Pastor McLaughlin at his pulpit, writing and delivering numerous service messages, synopsis studies, speaking at outreach events, and leading the congregation in communion services.

1Peter 5:2 Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness.

Pastor Jason’s goal is to bring the Gospel message out to a lost and dying world, accurately dividing and teaching the Word of God. We are commanded by God to be Salt to the Earth and Lights to the world upon a hill that cannot be hidden. Thus meaning, as positive believers in Christ, we are to preserve the Word of Truth being faithful ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ, while shinning as the light of the Lord upon others, in His glorious Name with integrity and courage.

Pastor Jason has enjoyed the study of bible doctrine and theology for over 35 years and will continue, by the grace of God, to freely share with and shepherd those who are called by God to hear His Word.

Pastor Jason’s ordination and teaching fall within the lineage of Pastor Robert R. McLaughlin, Pastor R. B. Thieme Jr., and Lewis Sperry Chafer. – of such men he is indebted and eternally thankful.
